Title: Byzantine Perspective
Author: Lea
This review gets really spoilery for puzzles (not plot).
C9-HFS-19 Scores
1. Technical: I have to give it a non-perfect score since it reported a bug to me. But it reported a bug to me!
My original thinking was that I couldn't read the paper without light - let's blame the cough syrup - so I went to the manuscript room, which had described small spot lights, in the hopes that I could read the paper in my pocket in that room. So I did the following:
(NB: done before changing any internal game settings - reproducible from the game-start.)
Technically, I think there are two bugs here: first, there are no instruments mentioned in this room, and second, well, the game told me there was one.
2. Writing: Full on technical scores, and a plus for describing most objects I can interact with, and giving plausible reasons for terseness. There's not much story here, though.
3. Puzzles: One major and one minor puzzle, but man, that's a good major puzzle.
4. Bonuses: Can't really justify one, since while what's here is very good, it's just not big enough! Also the aforementioned bug.
Submitted Score: 7
Summary: A fantastic puzzle, seemingly quite malleable, that would be quite welcome in a larger game. This could be used to describe intoxication of any number of sorts, for instance, or puppet-style/remote controlling of an npc, or dream/fantasy interactions, or...yeah! Go do that!

The Room of Manuscripts
Cases of manuscripts line the wall at about chest height. The exhibit continues to the east, from the north.
>put scrap on case
You put the scrap of paper on the instruments.
>read scrap
It's an examining-things bug! Please report it
