I like giving bonus points for Hellfire themed games. I have a weakness for that and for bad priests and gin. But this one is so weak that it's pretty much an office that could be anywhere. Hell, it could be my office, only mine has health inspectors that make it more hellish than a cubicle dweller can imagine.
The puzzles and even the errors are, at game 24 of 35, now boring. Give object to NPC, get new object, use or give, rinse, repeat.
Random side-note: I cannot type 'cupboard' easily and I'm sick of them. I don't know why I can't, I just fuck it up every single time. Also 'hingest'. Sigh.
Standard errors, which I'm tired of by now - things like
>unscrew hinges Those are fixed in place. >remove hinges with screwdriver You can't see any such thing. >pull hinges with screwdriver I only understood you as far as wanting to pull the hinges. >unscrew hinges with screwdriver You turn the old hinges with the screwdriver. --- Elevator You are in an elevator. Next to the doors are three buttons numbered one to three, and below it is a panel secured with screws. >unscrew panel It is fixed in place. >unscrew screws You can't see any such thing.
No. Bad.
All this is getting kind of old. Just have someone else go through - without a walkthrough - once! That's all that's needed in cases like this. Although competent, it's uninspired, synonym-less, and trite. I wanted to like it, but it just falls short.
